Libertyville, IL

Mid May 2013:
Trip to the state of Illinois, which is just about the farthest east I have ever been in this country. Between classes and final tests preparations, we still managed to cram a week before my graduation. First stop was a town where I met this cat and his sister.
 Tubby.
Oh this cat. Him and his sister were de-clawed, which is from what I learned, illegal in the state of California... or maybe just San Francisco? But I loved the lack of claws. These cats were the most fluffy and friendly cats I have ever come across. They would approach me whereas others would ignore or run away if you tried picking them up. And I'm not much of a fan of claws.

 Into Lake County Forest Preserve.
A good way to walk off all the midwest food that was being consumed by my little belly. I swear we ate out almost everyday; not good if I was home but if I was on a little vacation.. why not?

Olive Festival

We have always wanted to go to the Olive Festival and this year we stumbled upon it. By accident. Such lucky ducks, we were.

Camping in the Wilderness

It is September, which means only three months left in the year before 2015! SO CRAZY. So much excitement has been happening this year and I can't wait for the next 6 months to come, which will involve crossing multiple things off my life list. I'm also constantly coming up with ideas, one of which includes changing the layout of this blog. I also miss posting, so here I am!

It's been two years since we last went camping, so two weeks ago, Nate and I decided to go.
