Caloric Counting Update

Reached a running/exercise milestone the other day and I couldn't be more stoked. 
(Insert photo of me in the gym with bulging muscles. Just kidding. I hate photos/selfies like that. It's a pet peeve.) Especially since I felt incredibly unmotivated when I first drove to the park and had to put on my saucony's. Then again, I feel like this about 75% of the time and I usually come out on top.

Don't count calories! Some of the things I used to do that I should maybe pick up again:

1) Eat only when you are hungry.
2) Just eat, do not multi-task.
3) Eat until you are satisfied and not BLOATED.
4) Use a smaller plate to give the illusion that you are eating a lot (to avoid over-eating). 
5) Leave sugar out as much as possible. 
6) Leave junk/cheat days on the weekends. 

Typing all of this while I'm at work... yes. Today is Friday. Yes... it is that day. And I am falling asleep. Music is on and I am sucking on a mint, but none of it is working!!
