Health Goals 2014 - End of Phase 1

One of the things I wanted to focus on this year was health. This included physical health, as well as mental health. After a myriad of running for weeks and stopping and then repeating the process, it was time to pull myself by the bootstraps to commit to another race. The last and first I ever did was back in 2010!

Two weeks ago I ran a race and broke my personal records. Such a great feeling. I also learned 2 things:
1) I should do more races on dirt and not cement. Shin splints, ouch!
2) Kids running in the same race as you can be very distracting.
