Eclipse

Watching Thor on Netflix. Not sure how I feel about it. I'm not one to watch movies, but it has felt like a movie night. I watched an episode of Ugly Betty earlier. Now that was much more entertaining in the way that it was like The Devil Wears Prada. Sad to say, but Netflix has got to step it up with the shows they have available. Or maybe this is a call to pursue my other hobbies.

I don't like how rumors are spread. At my age, it seems silly. And I'm in my twenties. Even back in High school that was all stupid so I strayed away from throngs of people. What's also upsetting is the way people treat one another at [insert location]. I can't say anymore but that was a portion of what happened earlier this afternoon, all of which has lead to a letter.

Now, nearly two months ago an eclipse occurred. A neighbor caught us trying to catch a glimpse of the whole event and kindly let us borrow her special glasses. It was a sight. Anyway, the eclipse produced interesting shadows...

Off The Grid

Something must have clicked today as my day was random and spontaneous- just how I like them! Maybe the karma and luck gods recognized me in all forms of righteousness and brought me to a ball game. I went to the Giants game tonight, and what a great game it was! Giants win 10 to nothing against the Astros and wow... that was a way better game than last August when I went to my very first baseball game.

What month is it? June? My mind keeps thinking it is already July. But June means summer! And summer implies fun and exciting events. Graduations, tests and birthdays are all coming up. My mind is free from school and all my creative juices are flowing.

Maybe I should have brought along my #1 orange glove from last year to the game tonight. A very great day overall; I give it a two thumbs up! Tomorrow is another day.

Hello suburbia, sorry but I don't miss you

Word of Advice: ALWAYS plan your itinerary before heading out. This includes looking up the weekend bus schedule in suburbia. Or else you'll end up like us three in the heat who waited for the bus for an hour! Pictured is my cousin Daniel and I.

To pass time, loads of photo taking and conversation happens

Sudden change of place. But wait, this is the first hardware store I've seen actual kitchen materials up on a billboard...

Do these oranges have steroids or what?

Bread for salmon salad!

"Up North"

Someone's got a job interview...

I sat in the car and waited patiently (a.k.a. I took photos and sang out loud all while typing up an essay).

We stopped by an airport with these cool-looking planes which didn't have engines. I thought that was cool-- then again I don't know anything about airplanes.

We walked around the neighborhood of a small town...

 Postcard added to my collection!

I fall asleep in the car and wake up to this. This is when I know we're nearly home.

I don't like this new version of blogger. Can anyone tell I gave up putting my comments in their proper places?

Ended two jobs. Started a new job. Part of taking all these sociology classes is the identification of the factory worker and the alienation that comes with it. Seems like I have been sucked into an assembly line for a full week myself now, guys! The one positive thing about it all is the experience, for sure. I am absorbing all this knowledge and the ins and outs of the company.

But look see, I feel quite productive because I am not bored at home. When I come home all I think of is what I can eat for dinner or if I'm eating enough fruits and vegetables. My room is a mess and no matter how much I try to clean it seems the same. Now that's how I know my days are occupied.

I should go find that summer bucket list now.

I know it's the first of the month when I get a text like this.

French toast and yogurt to start me off in the morning. Too bad I burnt that circle piece of bread.

I LOVE MOONCAKE WITH RED BEAN FILLING!

I made Pho for the first time. It was a little dry, still tasty however.

Munching on hot cheetos while surfing the web. As of now I'm stopping my consumption of these chips. They still look good though. Yum...

Mee Goreng; I call this the "Asian" Ramen. Better than Ramen itself, I think. For days when I have nothing else/too lazy to cook.

If you know me well enough, you'd know I have a sweet tooth. These bars were given to me by a professor for having perfect attendance!
