Thanksgiving week

I love how I had the whole week off. This has never happened to me. I suspect this is how the CSUs squeeze in their furlough days. Still, I had a few worries about being bored but that never came to be. I was all over the place and there never was a dull moment. I was semi-productive and spent time where I wanted to be. I was thankful for everything and where I was; thankful of the things I had, things that others longed to have. But why does being grateful have to be only made clear on one day? It should be everyday!

I was told by a bird that they haven't seen me with my camera in a while. She really means my D40, my Nikon. And she's right. There are many reasons due to my slow photo year, one of which involves my subjects. I really enjoy taking photos of people I like being around with. But my subjects no longer like being on camera, it seems. This I ponder to myself whenever I post.
For now, this is all this is- sort of like a picture book for me. Anyone want to sell their face on the internet????

Oh, I reactivated my twitter too. It might just come in handy.

Just a few misfits of photos

Jammin' with housemates.

A gift for me.

My sisters put up their christmas tree!

It has been quite the productive day. I crossed off a few things off my to-do list and am ready for the weekend. However, I cannot retire yet. My final day at work for the year is tomorrow while finals and essays will be taking over my life beginning this week. This means about two weeks of torture. But I will pull through! I am very excited for December though and the fun things I will get to do (this I must put in a list!). For now, school awaits and one must do put in effort to succeed, no?

October in phone pictures

Okay I lied. I'm still up. But the truth is, I really like playing on my phone before going to sleep.

Discovered an extra sweet wine. Sweet is a little dangerous...

My fortune from Panda Express giving me some advice.

My little cactus has flowers!

Hummingbird in the garden of the school I work in.

Really random pad thai on halloween.

Chocolates from Europe. Might I add they tasted mightily delicious?

My sister turned 17.

I'm alive!

This was my first day of the semester.

October was a fail photo month. Phone pictures are just a-okay. Though sometimes they are quite cool. Nonetheless, it's November and I should be getting to bed but I've just been struck by an amazing idea:

I'm going to try all of Starbucks Holiday Drinks!

Not sure how that's going to work out as I don't like paying for overpriced coffee though.

It's been freezing lately- a sign of winter. However, I feel as if my next post would bring back sunny, warm memories.
